Download or read Beneath the Veil Fall of the House of Saud PDF, written by David Oualaalou and published by AuthorHouse. This book was released on 2018-10-30 with total page 210 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Saudi Arabia faces a time of uncertainty. The life its rulers once enjoyed from the sale of oil is now threatened by newly emerging reserves from Iran and the United States. Saudi Arabia’s aged, ailing monarch has defied decades of custom by naming his son as next in line for the throne. Already, the future heir’s ill-conceived policies have brought trouble to the house of Al-Saud: proxy wars rage in the Middle East and foreshadow a confrontation with an increasingly powerful Iran. Meanwhile, unrest grows at home. Discontented Saudi youth grow restless from high unemployment and a repressive society. The monarchy itself arrests members of its own family without cause while the religious establishment exerts its repressive influence over society. Saudi Arabia finds itself weakening as the Middle East transforms. Within the pages of this work, one glimpses a vision of the future: the inevitable demise of Saudi Arabia.

Book excerpt: The Stars Askew is the highly anticipated sequel to the New Weird adventure begun by talented young author Rjurik Davidson. With the seditionists in power, Caeli-Amur has begun a new age. Or has it? The escaped House officials no longer send food, and the city is starving. When the moderate leader Aceline is murdered, the trail leads Kata to a mysterious book that explains how to control the fabled Prism of Alerion. But when the last person to possess the book is found dead, it becomes clear that a conspiracy is afoot. At its center is former House Officiate Armand, who has hidden the Prism. Armand is vying for control of the Directorate, the highest political position in the city, until Armand is betrayed and sent to a prison camp to mine deadly bloodstone. Meanwhile, Maximilian is sharing his mind with another being: the joker-god Aya. Aya leads Max to the realm of the Elo-Talern to seek a power source to remove Aya from Max's brain. But when Max and Aya return, they find the vigilants destroying the last remnants of House power. It seems the seditionists' hopes for a new age of peace and prosperity in Caeli-Amur have come to naught, and every attempt to improve the situation makes it worse. The question now is not just whether Kata, Max, and Armand can do anything to stop the bloody battle in the city, but if they can escape with their lives. Download or read 20 000 LEAGUES UNDER THE SEA Illustrated PDF, written by Jules Verne and published by e-artnow. This book was released on 2016-11-23 with total page 300 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This carefully crafted ebook: "20,000 LEAGUES UNDER THE SEA (Illustrated)” is formatted for your eReader with a functional and detailed table of contents. "20,000 Leagues Under the Sea” is a classic science fiction novel by Jules Verne published in 1870. It tells the story of Captain Nemo and his submarine Nautilus, as seen from the perspective of Professor Pierre Aronnax. The title refers to the distance travelled while under the sea and not to a depth, as 20,000 leagues is over six times the diameter, and nearly three times the circumference of the Earth. The greatest depth mentioned in the book is four leagues. The book uses metric leagues, which are four kilometres each. A literal translation of the French title would end in the plural "seas", thus implying the "seven seas" through which the characters of the novel travel. The book was highly acclaimed when released and still is now; it is regarded as one of the premiere adventure novels and one of Verne's greatest works. Jules Verne (1828-1905) was a French novelist, poet, and playwright best known for his adventure novels and his profound influence on the literary genre of science fiction.
